Information for your stay
- Hotel: Three-star category, most recent renovation 2016
- Check-in: Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. Check-in is possible until 10:00 p.m. – also later on agreement.Â
- Check-out: Please vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
- Reception: The reception is staffed from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Location: At the end of a quiet residential area of Ratingen-Hösel, about 15 minutes by car from the city centre.Â
- Directions & parking: I have compiled information on how to get here separately. More about directions
- Payment options at the hotel: Cash, EC card, credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) and on account for business travellers if the company is paying.
- Prices: Prices include the statutory value-added tax and are shown in euros. Room rates during trade fairs are available on request.
- Rooms: The Hotel Haus Nussbaum has ten rooms: four single rooms, four double rooms with double bed, two double rooms with separate beds. Room overview
- Room amenities: WiFi, windows that can be opened and hairdryer. Classic rooms: Six rooms with flat-screen TV and bathroom with shower/toilet in the room. Economy room: Two rooms on the first floor with washbasin in the room and each with its own bathroom (shower/toilet) in the corridor. Two rooms (double + single) on the second floor which share a bathroom and each have washbasins in the room. The economy rooms do not have TV, but you can use WiFi via your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
- Non-smoking hotel: All rooms are non-smoking.
- Families: For a stay with the family, I recommend rooms with extra beds or the two economy rooms (double + single) on the second floor with shared bathroom.
- Extra beds: I charge €20 per night for an extra bed. The cot is provided free of charge – please inquire about the cot in advance so that I can reserve it for you.
- Dogs: Please let me know in advance if you are bringing your dog with you. I charge €20 per dog per night.
- Breakfast: You can book breakfast for €7. I serve breakfast from 7:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. on Sundays. Further information
- Breakfast room / guest lounge: The room is accessible all day and in the evening and you are welcome to while away some time here.Â
- Garden: Tables, chairs and parasols are set up in the garden in summer.Â
- Drinks fridge: There is a fridge with non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks in the breakfast room/guest lounge. You can take a drink on trust and pay on check-out.Â
- Restaurant tips: There are several restaurants within a radius of 1–1.5 km, and of course more restaurants in Ratingen and in the nearby cities of Essen and Düsseldorf. I’ll be happy to give you tips when you arrive.
- Travel cancellation: Unfortunately, the unforeseen can always occur and a serious reason can prevent you from taking your trip. Please take out travel cancellation insurance for such cases.Â
- Cancellation:Â You can cancel with us free of charge up to 12:00 noon on the day of arrival. If you let us know after 12:00 noon, I will have to charge the full price. The cancellation conditions during trade fairs vary, which is why we will supply them on request.
- Coronavirus measures: Of course I comply with all hygiene measures and have set up a hygiene station for hand disinfection.Â
